A life remembered
Mrs. Amrita Baptiste, aged 80, of Curepe, Tunapuna/Piarco, passed peacefully on 6th July 2026 in the comfort of her home.
Born and raised in central Trinidad and a faithful member of St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Amrita gave nearly forty years of her life to nursing, tending to countless patients at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex with quiet devotion. She is dearly remembered by her children Deborah, Sunil and Marlon, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a loving family spread across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment at the St. John's Cemetery, Curepe.
- ✦Mourners are gently invited to wear white in her honour.
- ✦In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
