A life remembered
Mr. John De Silva, aged 86, of Gulf View, San Fernando, passed peacefully on 24th June 2026 at home in the care of his family.
Born and raised in the south of Trinidad, John was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church and a skilled electrician who wired homes and businesses across San Fernando for more than fifty years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Bernadette, his children Peter, Joan and Francis, his grandchildren, and a devoted family across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, San Fernando, followed by interment at the Paradise Cemetery, San Fernando.
- ✦Mourners are kindly asked to wear light colours in his honour.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the San Fernando General Hospital.
