A life remembered
Mr Joseph Karam, aged 89, of Maraval, Port of Spain, passed peacefully on 4 July 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered for his humility, his quiet strength and his lifelong devotion to family and faith.
Born into a Syrian-Lebanese family with deep roots in Trinidad, Joseph built a long and respected life in business while remaining a gentle and generous man of faith. A parishioner of the Church of the Assumption, Maraval, he is survived by his wife Antoinette, his children Peter, Gerard and Josephine, his many grandchildren, and an extended family across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Maraval, followed by interment at Lapeyrouse Cemetery, Port of Spain. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance of a generous and gentle life. No flowers by request — donations may be made to the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society.
