A life remembered
Mr. Marlon Joseph, aged 85, of Pleasantville, San Fernando, passed peacefully on Saturday, 27th June 2026, after a long and well-lived life.
Born and raised in south Trinidad, Marlon was a devoted member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, San Fernando, and a respected primary-school teacher and later headmaster whose forty-year career touched countless families across the south. A patient and principled man, he was as at home leading morning assembly as he was tending his garden. He is survived by his wife Ingrid, his children Roger, Sherry-Ann and Devon, his grandchildren Zara, Kiran and Micah, and a great many former pupils, relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.
Service & interment
- ✦A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, San Fernando, followed by interment at the Paradise Cemetery, San Fernando. Mourners are warmly invited to wear light colours in his memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasantville Government Primary School.
