A life remembered
Mr Michael Rostant, aged 70, of St Augustine, Tunapuna/Piarco, passed peacefully on Wednesday the 8th of July, 2026, after a life gently and fully lived.
Raised in the district of St Augustine, Michael was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic community and worshipped for many years at St Charles Borromeo RC Church, Tunapuna. He spent his working life as a land surveyor, walking every corner of the countryside he came to know so well. He is survived by his wife Theresa, his sons Anthony and Gerard, his daughter Marguerite, and a loving family across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Michael Rostant will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Port of Spain, followed by interment at Lapeyrouse Cemetery, Port of Spain. The family gives thanks for the many kindnesses shown during his illness and at his passing. No flowers by request — donations may be made in his memory to the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society.
