A life remembered
Mr. Rajendra Bachan, aged 67, of Couva, Couva-Tabaquite-Talparo, passed peacefully on 15th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in central Trinidad, Rajendra was a devoted member of the Couva Presbyterian congregation and a familiar, cheerful presence on the roads he served for more than three decades as a taxi driver. Known for his patience and his kindness to every passenger, he leaves to mourn his wife Rookmin, his children Anil, Rina and Devan, his grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦A funeral service will be held at the Couva Presbyterian Church, followed by interment at the Couva Public Cemetery.
- ✦Mourners are kindly asked to wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made in his memory to the Couva District Health Facility.
