A life remembered
Mrs. Sita Ramnarine née Singh, aged 78, of Barrackpore, Princes Town, passed peacefully on 18th June 2026, in the comfort of her home and family.
Born and raised in southern Trinidad, Sita was a gentle and steadfast devotee of her faith and a familiar face at the Barrackpore Hindu Mandir, where she offered prayers for many years. She gave decades of quiet, dependable service as a civil servant before her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Kamla, Ravi and Anand, her grandchildren, and a devoted family across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Prayers will be held at the family home in Barrackpore and at the Barrackpore Hindu Mandir, followed by cremation at the Shore of Peace Cremation Site, Mosquito Creek.
- ✦Family and friends are warmly invited to wear white.
- ✦In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barrackpore Hindu Mandir.
