A life remembered
Ms Therese Hadeed, aged 74, of Newtown, Port of Spain, passed peacefully on Thursday the 9th of July, 2026, at her home surrounded by those dearest to her.
A proud daughter of Port of Spain, Therese was a faithful member of the Roman Catholic Church and worshipped for many years at the Church of St Theresa, Woodbrook. For more than three decades she kept a well-loved boutique in the city, where her warmth and eye for beauty drew customers who became lifelong friends. She is survived by her sister Cecile, her nephews Anthony and Bernard, her niece Marguerite, and a devoted family across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Therese Hadeed will be celebrated at the Church of St Theresa, Woodbrook, followed by interment at Mucurapo (Western) Cemetery, Port of Spain. Her family thanks all who offered their prayers, presence and affection during her final days. No flowers by request — donations may be made in her memory to the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society.
